Casting a Spinner

Casting a Spinner

Chris Myers of Central Florida Sight Fishing Charters provides this valuable video tutorial to teach viewers the difference between overhead and sidearm casting. Both of these techniques are useful when spin fishing in a large body of water, but it’s important to know when to use them. Myers begins the video by discussing the ideal times to deploy each type of cast, then he provides a step-by-step demonstration of how to perform them. While most fishers are familiar with overhand casting, learning to sidearm cast is a valuable skill they should also have. No matter how good your gear or bait, a poor casting technique all but ensures that no fish will bite.
