River Fly Chops
Fisher and guide Jonathan Barnes teachers you how to adapt your fly fishing technique to the water you are fishing. Not every fly fishing technique works on every body of water. Barnes discusses using duo, dry fly, and nymphing techniques with tips on how to recognize the ideal conditions for each. After opening the lesson with a brief discussion of gear, Barnes moves on to demonstrate each of the three techniques in turn. He includes discussion of such things as water depth, speed of flow, and other variables that affect which fly fishing technique is best. As a bonus, Barnes also demonstrates some excellent casts of all three types that he discusses.
