When it comes to catfish, size does matter. While fishing on the River Rhone in France, these fishermen reeled in a monster that weighed in at more than 250 pounds and was more than eight feet long – an award-winning catch. This beast rose slowly to the surface of the water, and hauling it into the boat proved a real challenge. Once it was in, there wasn’t much room for the fishermen. The real length of this catfish becomes apparent when they brace it in the water for a photo op. The chance to bring in a fish like this one, caught on camera by Catfish World by Yuri Grisendi, while fishing or fly fishing is pretty rare.
